UO pour Urban Outfitters. Je suis totalement amoureuse de cette marque ! J’ai vraiment dû me retenir niveau achat, sinon j’aurais explosé le poids autorisé pour mes bagages… C’est bien simple, je suis entrée dans tous les UO que j’ai croisé, que ce soit à Boston, Los Angeles ou là, à New York sur la 5ème avenue ! Non seulement vous y trouverez des vêtements, mais une tonne d’accessoires pour vous et votre intérieur. Des bijous, lunettes, chapeaux, etc, mais aussi des livres, des tableaux, des tasses, des écouteurs et une tonne de trucs complètement dingues et super cool ! Ce n’est pas le même budget que Forever 21 (le H&M américain), mais c’est mon préféré ! Je pourrais tout bonnement y passer des heures. Un jour je pourrais même bien y camper… C’est le magasin parfait pour tous les hipsters, et soyons honnêtes, j’en suis une. Allez faire un tour sur leur site internet ici, vous pouvez commander en ligne, et même si vous ne le faites pas, vous pouvez toujours délecter vos oreilles de leur player qui regorge des titres les plus classes du moment !

UO for Urban Outfitters. I’m seriously in loooove with that brand ! I really had to be careful not to buy too much, or my luggage would have been overweight…. So, I kind of came in every UO I walked by, either in Boston, Los Angeles or there, in New York, on the fifth av ! Not only you’re going to find awesome clothes, but so many accessories for you and your home. You’ll find jewels, glasses, hats etc, but also, books, paintings, cups, earphones, and a billion of fun and crazy stuff ! Not as cheap as Forever 21 (the american version of H&M) but it’s my favourite one ! I could spend hours and hours there. I might even camp in there one day… It’s the perfect hipsters’ store, and let’s face it, I’m one of them. Check their website here, you can order online and even if you don’t, you can still enjoy their player with a lot of awesome tracks !

Les portes d’entrée d’Urban Outfitters sont toujours dans cet état, style verre brisé. Ouais, on est tous d’accord. On veut cambrioler UO.

À peine rentrée que l’envie de repartir se fait sentir, je commençais à m’habituer à cette vie de gypsie ! Il y a quelques marques américaines qui me manquent déjà, entre autres, American Eagle Outfitter et Urban Outfitters ! D’ailleurs, on consacrera bientôt un article à UO, tant ce magasin envoie du rêve. Un jour j’irai y faire un casse, en attendant, je regarde mes mains et je me dis que tout se joue à un avion près. Pour le reste, c’est womanimal, avec mon body et mes collants léopard, en faisant bien attention à être du côté plus rock que plus pétasse de la barre. Ah oui, c’est vite franchi…

Barely used to being back home and I already want to leave again, I miss my gypsie life ! I also miss some american brands, such as American Eagle Outfitter or Urban Outfitter for instance. By the way, one of the future article is going to be about UO, we have to, this store is such a dream seller. One day, I will organize a robbery there, but for now, I find consolation looking at my hands, thinking that I’m one plane away from it. And for what is left, let’s say it’s a womanimal style, with my leopard tights and body (lingerie), being careful to be on the rock side more than on the bitchy one… yeah, the line is easily crossed !

Vivre à la californienne, c’est un peu beaucoup vivre dans une série tv. Sachez que courir sous la pluie caniculaire avec les Bee Gees en fond musical a été une situation bien réelle. Qu’il n’y avait pas que des burgers à manger. Que nager avec les dauphins était potentiellement possible, et que les combis sexy n’avaient rien de vulgaire. Et pour ceux qui se demandent : « non la valise n’a pas été en surpoids au retour ! » Beaucoup de grands moments pour ces vacances de rêve : vivement les prochaines…

On en a rêvé, et le rêve est devenu réalité ! On a aussi travaillé dur pendant des mois pour y arriver, et maintenant Californie, nous voilà ! Il y a un centre commercial juste à côté de chez nous… La chanson de Robin Sparkles « let’s go to the mall » dans la tête et une tonne de sac dans les mains plus tard, nous passons la journée à Santa Barbara avec nos tous nouveaux habits et accessoires américains. Dites Bonjour à notre super amie Claire qui voyage avec nous, elle a trouvé un chapeau splendide à Urban Outfitter. Bonne semaine à toutes et à tous !

We were dreaming about it, and the dream has now come true ! We also worked hard for months to make it, and now California, here we are ! There is a shopping mall just next to our place… Robin Sparkles’ song « let’s go to the mall » in our head and many bags in our hands later, we’re spending the day in Santa Barbara, wearing our new fancy american clothes and accessories. Say Hi to our good friend Claire travelling with us, she found a great hat at Urban Outfitter. Have a great week everyone !
